Bright and Gold

You know how I have thing for bookshelves and gold tones, well put these two together and we got these lovely brass and gold shelving units.  What I love most about them is that some of them you see here were transformed from a regular shelving unit into these lovelies just using some gold spray paint.

Gala x Tous

Last week I was invited to attend a little party to celebrate Gala Gonzalez's collaboration with Tous.  It was held at a beautiful restaurant called Casa Fran here in Mexico City and there were succulents and jewels everywhere.  The atmosphere was great, the place was packed. The collection itself was lovely.  The pieces were organic, nature inspired and right up my alley.

Alejandro Carlin

Alejandro's collection was all about big hair and slinky gowns.  It was very feminine and the colour palette was lovely.

Julia & Renata

These ladies created asymmetrical looks to perfection.  I loved the silky gowns under thick layers.

Lorena Saravia

Lorena's collection was on of my favourites!  It was modern, edgy and wearable.  It was mostly monochrome with a fabulous pop of green.  And the shoes...look at those shoes!

For the last day of Fashion Week I snuck into my husband's closet and paired his oversized blue shirt with my pencil skirt.  And the clutch made an appearance again.
