San Angel

Plaza San Jacinto

Marimba players and traditional Mexican dances.

Paper mache figures.

Fab jewelry displays.

The cutest ever cloth donkeys.

''A woman without jewels is like a night without stars.''

A couple of Saturdays ago my boyfriend and I ventured to beautiful San Angel.  It is a neighborhood in the South part of Mexico city and it is rich in history and tradition.  One of the main attractions in San Angel is the San Jacinto Market. Every Saturday San Jacinto Plaza is open and it offers an array of handcrafted items such as jewelry, pottery, toys and other curiosities.  Also there is music, there is dancing, there is delicious food.  We spent the whole day exploring and people watching.  A perfect Saturday in the city!
